There is nothing like uncertainty and a fair amount of isolation to inspire the stories to begin to emerge... These songs, all written during the height of lockdown, with remote collaboration with Jack Petruzzelli and Adam Bernstein, were truly a lifesaving process... When we could all finally be in the same room, we finished the recording with Justin Guip recording and playing some drums at Milan Hill Studios in the Hudson Valley. Larry Campbell stopped by and graced us by guesting on Man In Black and Dry My Tears. I'm moved to be releasing these first songs as a mini collection of the lockdown creative process and collaboration.
